Following the intensification of airstrikes on 29 December 2023, an estimated 1,504 persons have been reached with humanitarian health assistance by Health Cluster partners working in close collaboration with the Ministry of Health.
WINTER ATTACKS RESPONSE
Health cluster mobilized an estimated $10 million on behalf of 12 partners to provide critical lifesaving assistance to vulnerable populations in hard-to-reach locations and with severe, extreme, and catastrophic needs as highlighted in the 2024 HNRP.

Through WHO as CLA and the WHO SSA Platform verified 1,575 attacks on hospitals, health workers, and other medical infrastructure since the escalation of war in 2022.
ATTACKS ON HEALTH CARE
Health Cluster partners (including WHO) participated since April 2022 in 140 inter-agency convoys to deliver assistance for basic health needs in high-risk and hard-to-reach area.
